UDF ( Unit of Dispensing Fluid)
July 13, 2026 Kiezen Admin

The Unit of Dispensing Fluid (UDF) is the final delivery node in KIEZEN INDIA's specialized chemical reticulation network. Unlike traditional porous or weeping pipes that continuously leak chemical through tiny pores, a UDF is a precision-engineered emitter valve designed to deliver a controlled, targeted release of anti-termite chemical directly into the soil or concrete foundation joints.

This precise delivery eliminates common reticulation issues such as localized clogging, dampness, structural wetness, or excessive moisture accumulation within the building premises.

Technical Specifications and Engineering Terms:- To ensure the system maintains the correct operating pressure  application logic and on-site installations must adhere to the following strict constraints:-
Dimensions & Connection-

1. Every UDF node connects directly to a continuous distribution line composed of high-durability tubing with a 6 mm Outer Diameter (OD) and a 4 mm Inner Diameter (ID).

2. The 3-Foot Rule: UDF units are installed sequentially along the pipe network at a precise, fixed interval of a 3-foot gap between each unit.

System Capacity Limits:- To prevent pressure drops and ensure uniform chemical distribution across the entire zone, a single output line originating from the Fluid Distribution Unit (FDU) can support a maximum of 13 to 14 UDFs.

  • Baseline Architecture Ratio:-  In a standard KIEZEN INDIA layout, a complete operational segment scales from a minimum base ratio of 1 Fluid Pumping Station (FPS) connected to 1 Fluid Distribution Unit (FDU), feeding a minimum grid of 139 to 142 UDFs divided across individual branching lines.
  • Physical Orientation:- During the Pre-Construction laying phase, all UDF nodes are physically oriented facing downward toward the compacted soil to ensure they remain functional and are not permanently sealed shut or clogged during the subsequent concrete slurry pour.
